Motorcycle Pilgrim

Pilgrim?
 Pilgrims are travelers.

Travelers who have something more or less specific in mind they are looking for and probably believe somehow to find or to fulfil on their journey. People who might even look at their life as a journey, without having to seek to arrive at a particular place, but love traveling as such.

More and more I experience myself in this sense as a traveler, a pilgrim.

Of course, ultimately, we all seek the same: to be happy. ( Or who would say of himself or herself that he or she wants to be unhappy?) For the pilgrim, for the traveler, it is somehow on the way, it's the happiness of being on your way and the experience of happiness in whatever happens on your journey. The pilgrim experiences happiness...

... in new impressions and encounters ...
... in the excitation of the mind and senses ...
... in awareness and gain in knowledge ...
... in the experience of freedom and limits ...
and last but not least and especially when traveling, in the coming-to-rest, in the silence of solitude, in being thrown back to oneself, and thus ultimately in self-awareness and self-knowledge.

Motorcycle Pilgrim?

A pilgrim on a motorcycle?

Well, travelling is very concrete. Means of transportation, there are many - and my favorite is the motorcycle. Being on the road on a motorbike is a very special experience, straight
, not isolated from the world that surrounds you, more or less defenseless against weather conditions and more ... To me riding my bike means a lot more than mere locomotion. It moves the soul and it's an experience of happiness.

In this sense...
